Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want every refund question to have a clear answer before you pay. This policy explains what is refundable, what is not, and how to ask.

1. The Two Parts of Every Payment

Every service involves (a) our professional fee for advice, preparation and filing, and (b) government fees, stamp duty and taxes. The government amounts are paid to the government and are never refundable by us once paid, whatever the outcome of the application - this is true on every portal and for every provider, including applying directly.

2. Cancelling Before Work Begins

If you cancel within [RAHUL: 48] hours of payment and before we have started work on your matter (no documents drafted, no application prepared or filed), we refund 100% of the professional fee, less payment-gateway charges. Request it in writing per Section 6.

3. Cancelling After Work Has Begun

Once work has started, the professional fee is refundable only to the extent work has not been performed. As a rule of thumb: documents drafted or application prepared - up to [RAHUL: 50]% refundable; application filed on the government portal - the professional fee is no longer refundable, because the service you paid for (preparation and filing) has been delivered. Where you prefer it, we can apply the unused portion as a credit toward any other ComplyLocal service of your choice, valid for [RAHUL: 12] months.

4. What Is Not Refundable

We do not refund professional fees because: a government authority rejected, objected to, or delayed an application; the outcome or processing time differed from an estimate; the information or documents you provided were inaccurate, incomplete, or arrived late; you stopped responding for more than 60 days (the engagement may be closed as abandoned); or you changed your mind after the application was filed.

5. If the Fault Is Ours

If a filing fails solely because of an error on our side, we will re-prepare and re-file it at no additional professional fee, and bear any late fee directly and solely attributable to our error. This is our preferred remedy and, where we provide it, it is in place of a refund.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email info@complylocal.com from your registered email with your name, mobile number, service, payment reference and reason. We acknowledge within 48 hours and communicate a decision within 7 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of approval.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback - most concerns resolve faster through Section 6. Engagements under an active, unexplained chargeback are paused until it is resolved.
